# Can I create custom discount rules which Shopify does not support?

- Apart from defining Volume Discounts, our app only allows you to apply the standard Shopify discounts, just on the cart or other page instead of the Checkout. We aren’t able to add any custom restrictions or rules to your Shopify discounts.
