I received orders which had a gift, but a discount was added that should have caused the gift to be removed.

- By default, our app does not prevent additional discounts to be added on the Checkout page. We offer the optional functionality to prevent that by use of draft orders which cannot be modified on Checkout. Effectively, the discount field will be removed from Checkout only when a gift is already in the cart, so customers cannot add more discounts.

- If you use express checkout options on cart, these options will skip our draft order functionality, and make it possible for customers to continue to add additional discounts during the express checkout flow! Since we do not control express checkout, we have no way of removing the gift if it becomes ineligible due to additional discounts. We recommend disabling express checkout options on the cart (drawer cart), which causes Shopify to show them on the first page of Checkout (after a small cache period expires).

This doesn't change the available express checkout options for your customer, only pushes them one step forward into the Checkout page.
